One day Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) sees him playing football with a big plastic box and notes his skills.  They decide to make their team by training them in football.  The whole journey of obstacles, struggles and questions is a ‘swarm’.

As such, it may seem like a sports movie;  But that is not the case.  It’s a game of perseverance, struggle and life. 

Nagraj has also raised important issues in this film.  The slum dwellers have been neglected for years.  Residents were boycotted.

They were looked at differently.  They may have some skills, they may want to do something, they also have feelings and they also want to express themselves, the slum dwellers live there,

they have to go to great lengths to get their identity card, this tragedy is so well presented in the film that its seriousness does not remain without reaching the audience. 

On one occasion in the film, the children’s football team is chatting with Vijay.  So everyone is talking about his life.  One of them, ‘No one has ever asked me, how are you, are you happy or sad?’  The film manages to entertain as well as inform the children

On the one hand, Amitabh Bachchan and on the other hand, the young actors who have made their debut are seen in the film.  Both these extremes are right in terms of acting. 

Bachchan, as usual, has hit sixes in acting.  Even if there is a big actor, he looks the same throughout the film;  But along with Bachchan’s acting, Nagraj’s direction is also seen here.  Kishor Kadam and Chhaya Kadam have also done well for the role.

Even young artists have done a great job.  The credit goes to Nagraj and the team.  This is another feature of his film.  He has a knack for finding local people and making them work without any change.

  The realistic imagery makes the films feel closer, closer to our soil.  ‘Swarm’ is the same artwork.  Sudhakar Reddy’s cinematography is magical.  The filming of the slum is so well done that we become part of it and alternatively the film.  Ajay-Atul’s music makes you tremble.

The first half is used in the plot of the film.  The latter half lingers a little.  Even with a little bit of scissors, it would have worked.  Some characters seem to come into the story all of a sudden.

  Although it would be linked to later events, this chain of events could be reduced to a few.  It doesn’t matter if the herd is commercial or artistic.
 
  What he’s trying to convey is more important.  In the film, the slum children are portrayed in Amitabh’s soliloquy.  It is not possible for these children to cross the huge gorge, the high wall in order to show their skills to the world.
